Auditors: Deficit of Russia’s Pension Fund at 331 bln rbl in 2021

MOSCOW, Feb 22 (PRIME) -- Deficit of Russia’s state Pension Fund amounted to 330.755 billion rubles in 2021, the Audit Chamber said in a research note late on Monday.

The Pension Fund received 9.794 trillion rubles in 2021, a 4.9% contraction as compared with 2020 due to lower transfers from the federal budget. The transfers under the mandatory pension insurance system plummeted by around 85% to 1.441 trillion rubles, the auditors said.

Spending of the Pension Fund increased by 4.1% to 10.125 trillion rubles.
